Dear Member,
You will be aware that the government has eased some of the lockdown restrictions and is allowing outdoor cricket nets to open subject to stringent conditions. However, we, along with other clubs, have reluctantly decided not to do so as we believe it would be sensible to remain cautious about the spread of the disease for now. We are a community club and wish to safeguard the health and safety of our members.
We have debated this decision at length and have not taken it lightly as we are aware that many of you want to resume practicing cricket. As such, we will continue to monitor the government advice and update you all further as soon as possible.
