Booking the Net

Whilst we continue to work with measures implemented to control the COVID-19 pandemic, it is possible to allow limited, controlled use of ONE of the outdoor nets at the club by club members (only). Net bookings can be requested via the below form.

This will operate in accordance with the below Terms and Conditions. The Terms and Conditions must be adhered to by all who book and or participate in use of the Net.

The site may not be generally open for some sessions. If you need access to the site, please contact a club representative.

Note the club officials may not be present at the Net so all use is under individual supervision.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

  • Booking requests can be made using the below form
  • Nets can only be used with a confirmed booking. Bookings will be confirmed via email.
  • Sessions can only be booked by Club members with a current, valid membership.
  • There will be a maximum of 3 sessions per member per week.
  • Sessions are a maximum of 50 minutes and operate between the allotted times
  • Once the session time limit has been reached, participants must leave the site quickly and efficiently leaving the area clean and tidy.
  • No equipment will be supplied, all equipment used must be provided by the participants. Equipment sharing should be limited (unless participants are members of the same household)
  • No saliva or sweat should come into contact with the ball, net area or equipment at any time.
  • Social distancing of at least two metres must be maintained at all times (unless all participants are members of the same household).
  • The club toilets will not be open.
  • If you need to cancel a confirmed booking, please send a notification to enquiries@knowle-cricketclub.co.uk – please do this as early as possible so that availability can be offered to other club members.
  • The Club Exec reserve the right to cancel bookings or withdraw use of the net at any point

COVID-19 Prevention

  • Check for symptoms of COVID-19. In line with current Government guidance, if you are symptomatic, living in a household with a possible COVID-19 infection, have been informed to isolate or if you are classified as extremely vulnerable on health grounds, you should remain at home and follow Government guidance.
  • Bring hand sanitiser with you and use before and after use of the net.
  • Try not to arrive too early. Aim to arrive at the start of your booking time to limit the risk of congestion.
  • Use your own playing/training equipment including balls.
  • Bring your own filled drinking bottles.
  • Use cleaning stations whenever available.
  • Do not overstay your allocated time slot, you should be clear of the area by the time the next users arrive.
  • Do not litter or leave private property behind.
  • No spitting.
  • No saliva or sweat should come into contact with the ball at any time.
  • As always, the health and safety of participants is paramount. please ensure those using the nets minimise the risk of injury (e.g. wear helmets, pads etc).
